Paralegal

In today's competitive work environment, workers need qualifications that set them apart from the rest. Investing in your paralegal degree might give your career the boost it needs.

Paralegals are employed nearly everywhere legal work is conducted and operate lock step with lawyers on legal tasks. The National Federation of Paralegal Associations states that in 2005, paralegals will hold more than 176,000 jobs - up from 92,000 in 1992. As education programs become available, the NFPA sees that number increasing.

Paralegal hopefuls can receive formal education from two- and four-year colleges and proprietary schools and should join paralegal networking associations to obtain work.
