Since the tragedy of 9-11, a special emphasis has been placed on the need for tighter homeland security. You can benefit from this growing trend by receiving intensive homeland security training in a variety of different positions. From baggage scanner to in-flight officer, the pace is fast and furious and your office could be anywhere in the United States. If you've ever considered contributing to the security of our homeland, this just might be the job for you.

The job of protecting our country has become a big business. Congress is working to acquire more funding for homeland security than ever before. And the popular opinion supports such a move.

To fill the needs of the country, there will be a new calling for individuals to complete homeland security training to take the bulk of positions that will be created. Homeland security professionals who have completed their training will be able to hold mission-critical positions in any state in the United States.

Completing your homeland security training will prepare you to handle every conceivable emergency that you might encounter, depending upon your position.

Concepts Learned in Your Homeland Security Training Program:
  • Situation Assessment. One of the critical concepts you will learn in your homeland security training is the process of sizing up a situation and deciding the best course of action. This skill will prove valuable in a variety of homeland security positions.
  • Crowd Control. One of the major foci of homeland security training is the need to control crowds and keep people safe. This is especially important in cities with large populations.
  • Investigation Techniques. If you serve as an officer, you will be required to learn basic investigating techniques that are pivotal in the fight for homeland security.
