Tabloid magazines across the country are buzzing with the announcement that Mary Kate Olsen has dropped out of New York University early in her sophomore year. Against the advice of her college counselor, Olsen is taking an "approved leave of absence" and has left everyone wondering if she'll ever get the college training she started.
Apparently, college life has not been very good to Mary Kate Olsen. One half of the megalomaniacal twins the Olsen sisters, Mary Kate has decided to drop out of NYU in what college officials are calling an approved leave of absence. There are several factors that might have contributed to this decision. Her college counselor revealed that Mary Kate has been under pressure from the mix of her professional and educational lives. Her sister, Ashley, has decided to remain at NYU and continue her career training.
Despite the fact that Mary Kate chose not to heed her college counselor's advice, the role of college counselor is an important one.

The importance of the college counselor to students means that you will enjoy an above-average employment growth rate. Education. Your college counselor training will typically begin with a four-year degree in counseling from a college or university.
