Manpower, Inc. is one of the top employment agencies in the country, and has recently been named one of the top 30 companies for Executive Women. This annual list is published by the National Association for Female Executives.

Manpower has advanced opportunities for women in two distinct ways. As an employment agency, it helps women find jobs that fit their skill sets, without discriminating on the basis of gender. The president and CEO of Manpower, Jeffrey Joerres, was proud to cite a long history of helping women move from welfare to secure, fulfilling jobs. He added that his company played a vital role in helping women move from clerical to management positions.

As an organization, Manpower has embraced female executives. Twenty percent of the company's board of directors is female. In addition, two of the company's 10 top-tier officers are female. High-ranking female executives can be found throughout the company's global business, where 54% of the 65 people responsible for managing Manpower's business worldwide are women.
